Our Story
Verko was born from lived experience.
Our founder was thriving in a successful career when life circumstances led her to pause her full-time role. What was meant to be temporary became a roadblock — re-entry into the workforce was harder than expected. She soon realized she wasn’t alone. Many highly capable professionals faced the same challenge: being sidelined, not due to lack of skill, but because the job market wasn’t built for flexibility.
Determined to change this, she set out to address the gap between untapped talent and businesses struggling to fill roles.
In 2021, Verko came to life with a clear mission: "To reshape recruitment and workforce strategy by helping organisations embrace flexible and part-time friendly roles — unlocking incredible talent while driving sustainable growth."
