It all starts with an idea
Once upon a time, there was a businesswoman who wanted to bring her innovative idea to life. The founder was passionate about making a difference in the recruitment sector.
Every day she was delighted while she was enjoying the challenges of her successful full-time career. One day her life changed, and she needed to pause her full-time career. She thought it would be just for a couple of years.
Because of that break, she could not return to her career. Instead, she found herself at the back of her career track. So, she decided to find the root cause of her setback and soon realised that she was not the only one with that drawback. After a while, she spotted a gap in the labour market that could help improve many people’s lives.
Finally, in 2021, Verko came to life with a mission to shape a new recruitment marketplace where employers can positively impact society by advertising vacancies as part-time, flexible, friendly roles that will attract incredible talent to the job market.
